Warranty
2-year legal warranty
All products purchased on SolPatio carry a 2-year legal warranty of conformity from the delivery date (EU Directive 2019/771).
- What's covered: conformity defects present at delivery
- What's not covered: damage from normal wear, misuse, or inadequate maintenance
For the first 12 months from delivery, the burden of proof is on us (EU Directive 2019/771, art. 11).

Care & Maintenance
- Routine cleaning: use a soft cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive sponges or solvent-based products.
- UV protection: materials are treated to resist UV rays and rain. To maximize lifespan, cover the product during prolonged periods of disuse.
- Winter storage: store in a dry place away from frost when not in use.

The vidaXL sail shade provides triangular coverage of 5 x 7 x 7 meters, designed to create shaded areas in outdoor spaces. It is made of Oxford fabric with a polyurethane (PU) coating, a material chosen for its functional properties. This combination offers protection from direct sunlight and rain, making the sail shade suitable for installation in gardens, terraces, play areas, or balconies.
The Oxford fabric has undergone a specific treatment that makes it resistant to mold formation and offers UV protection. These features help maintain the fabric's integrity and appearance over time, even with prolonged exposure to weather elements. The structure is reinforced by stainless steel fasteners positioned on each of the three corners. The use of stainless steel prevents corrosion, an important factor for components intended for permanent outdoor use.
Installation is supported by the fastening rings and three PE ropes, each 1.5 meters long, included in the package. For optimal rainwater drainage, it is recommended to install the sail with two corners at a higher elevation than the third. This slanted configuration prevents water accumulation on the surface. The system is designed to cover a dining area on a patio or to protect a children's play area in the garden.
