Return shipping costs are paid by the customer. Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the return.
Defective or damaged product? Returns and replacements are completely free. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage.
Warranty
2-year legal warranty
All products purchased on SolPatio carry a 2-year legal warranty of conformity from the delivery date (EU Directive 2019/771).
- What's covered: conformity defects present at delivery
- What's not covered: damage from normal wear, misuse, or inadequate maintenance
For the first 12 months from delivery, the burden of proof is on us (EU Directive 2019/771, art. 11).

Care & Maintenance
- Routine cleaning: use a soft cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive sponges or solvent-based products.
- UV protection: materials are treated to resist UV rays and rain. To maximize lifespan, cover the product during prolonged periods of disuse.
- Winter storage: store in a dry place away from frost when not in use.

The vidaXL triangular sail shade, measuring 3.5 x 3.5 x 4.9 meters, is designed to create shaded areas in outdoor environments such as gardens, terraces, playgrounds, or balconies. It provides protection from sun and rain.
The sail is made from Oxford fabric with a polyurethane (PU) coating. This material composition offers water resistance and UV protection. The fabric also undergoes a specific treatment that makes it resistant to mold formation, helping to preserve its condition over time when exposed to the elements.
For installation, each corner of the sail is equipped with a stainless steel fastener, a material known for its corrosion resistance. The package includes three 1.5-meter polyethylene (PE) ropes for assembly. It is recommended to install two corners of the sail at a higher elevation than the third to facilitate rainwater runoff and prevent accumulation.
