Return shipping costs are paid by the customer. Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the return.
Defective or damaged product? Returns and replacements are completely free. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage.
Warranty
2-year legal warranty
All products purchased on SolPatio carry a 2-year legal warranty of conformity from the delivery date (EU Directive 2019/771).
- What's covered: conformity defects present at delivery
- What's not covered: damage from normal wear, misuse, or inadequate maintenance
For the first 12 months from delivery, the burden of proof is on us (EU Directive 2019/771, art. 11).

Care & Maintenance
- Routine cleaning: use a soft cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive sponges or solvent-based products.
- UV protection: materials are treated to resist UV rays and rain. To maximize lifespan, cover the product during prolonged periods of disuse.
- Winter storage: store in a dry place away from frost when not in use.

The vidaXL 4x4 m square sun shade sail provides coverage against sun and rain for outdoor spaces. It is made from Oxford fabric with a PU coating, a material selected for its water resistance and UV protection properties. The fabric is also treated to be mold resistant.
The shade sail features a design for simple and secure mounting. Each corner has a stainless steel fixing eyelet, providing corrosion resistance and maintaining tension. The package includes four 1.5-meter PE ropes for anchoring. The product requires no assembly before installation.
This sun shade sail is sized for use in areas such as gardens, terraces, playgrounds, and balconies. To optimize rainwater drainage, it is recommended to install two corners at a higher elevation than the other two, creating a slope that facilitates runoff and prevents water accumulation.
