Return shipping costs are paid by the customer. Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the return.
Defective or damaged product? Returns and replacements are completely free. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage.
Warranty
2-year legal warranty
All products purchased on SolPatio carry a 2-year legal warranty of conformity from the delivery date (EU Directive 2019/771).
- What's covered: conformity defects present at delivery
- What's not covered: damage from normal wear, misuse, or inadequate maintenance
For the first 12 months from delivery, the burden of proof is on us (EU Directive 2019/771, art. 11).

Care & Maintenance
- Routine cleaning: use a soft cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive sponges or solvent-based products.
- UV protection: materials are treated to resist UV rays and rain. To maximize lifespan, cover the product during prolonged periods of disuse.
- Winter storage: store in a dry place away from frost when not in use.

The vidaXL sail shade offers a 7 x 7 meter coverage area and has a square shape for outdoor spaces. It is suitable for creating shaded areas in gardens, terraces, playgrounds, or balconies.
The sail is constructed from Oxford fabric with a polyurethane (PU) coating. This material has been treated to resist mold formation and provide UV protection. The fabric structure with PU coating also features water resistance, protecting against light rain.
For installation, each corner of the sail is equipped with a stainless steel fastener for stable and weather-resistant anchoring. The package includes four polyethylene (PE) ropes, each 1.5 meters long, for assembly. For effective rainwater drainage, it is recommended to install two corners of the sail at a higher elevation than the other two. The total weight of the product is 8.33 kg.
