Warranty
2-year legal warranty
All products purchased on SolPatio carry a 2-year legal warranty of conformity from the delivery date (EU Directive 2019/771).
- What's covered: conformity defects present at delivery
- What's not covered: damage from normal wear, misuse, or inadequate maintenance
For the first 12 months from delivery, the burden of proof is on us (EU Directive 2019/771, art. 11).

Care & Maintenance
- Routine cleaning: use a soft cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive sponges or solvent-based products.
- UV protection: materials are treated to resist UV rays and rain. To maximize lifespan, cover the product during prolonged periods of disuse.
- Winter storage: store in a dry place away from frost when not in use.

The vidaXL rectangular sail shade provides a 4 x 6 metre coverage area for outdoor spaces. It protects against rain and direct sun in gardens, on terraces, and in children's play areas. The structure is made entirely of Oxford fabric with a polyurethane (PU) coating, a material selected for its functional properties.
The PU-treated Oxford fabric is water-resistant and provides UV protection. The material is also specially treated to be mould-resistant, helping to maintain its integrity in humid conditions. The fabric colour is yellow.
For installation, the sail shade is equipped with stainless steel fasteners at each of the four corners. These anchor points provide a secure connection. The package includes four 1.5-metre polyethylene (PE) ropes for mounting. For effective rainwater drainage, it is recommended to install two corners of the sail higher than the other two. The product does not require assembly before installation.
