Warranty
2-year legal warranty
All products purchased on SolPatio carry a 2-year legal warranty of conformity from the delivery date (EU Directive 2019/771).
- What's covered: conformity defects present at delivery
- What's not covered: damage from normal wear, misuse, or inadequate maintenance
For the first 12 months from delivery, the burden of proof is on us (EU Directive 2019/771, art. 11).

- Routine cleaning: use a soft cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive sponges or solvent-based products.
- UV protection: materials are treated to resist UV rays and rain. To maximize lifespan, cover the product during prolonged periods of disuse.

The vidaXL retractable awning, with dimensions of 150 x 150 cm (W x H), is a technical solution for shade management on windows, terraces, or balconies. Its supporting structure is a steel frame, a material that provides solidity and support to the mechanism. The fabric, in anthracite color, adapts to various outdoor settings. The total weight of the product is 3.22 kg, which facilitates handling during installation, which must take place on flat and smooth surfaces.
The awning fabric is 100% polyester, with a density of 180 grams per square meter (gr/㎡). This fabric is treated with a PA (polyamide) coating, which increases its water resistance and protects it from UV rays. These material specifications were chosen for outdoor use, to protect the underlying areas from both sun and light rain. For routine maintenance, the polyester fabric can be detached from the structure and washed.
The extension of the awning is controlled by a manual operating system. A side chain allows adjusting the fabric length, which can be extended from a fully closed position (0 cm) up to a maximum of 150 cm. In addition to projection, the height and angle of the awning can be adjusted. This configuration flexibility allows precise adaptation of the coverage, optimizing shade based on the sun's orientation throughout the day.
This product is designed for versatility: it can function as a standard awning for a small balcony or terrace, or be used as a vertical cover to shield a window from direct sun. Ease of assembly is an additional element of its design. The combination of its 150x150 cm dimensions and its manual adjustment system makes it a practical choice for living spaces that require a non-permanent and adaptable shading solution.
