Warranty
2-year legal warranty
All products purchased on SolPatio carry a 2-year legal warranty of conformity from the delivery date (EU Directive 2019/771).
- What's covered: conformity defects present at delivery
- What's not covered: damage from normal wear, misuse, or inadequate maintenance
For the first 12 months from delivery, the burden of proof is on us (EU Directive 2019/771, art. 11).

Care & Maintenance
- Routine cleaning: use a soft cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive sponges or solvent-based products.
- UV protection: materials are treated to resist UV rays and rain. To maximize lifespan, cover the product during prolonged periods of disuse.
- Winter storage: store in a dry place away from frost when not in use.

The vidaXL retractable awning has a total size of 200 x 150 cm (W x H). It is designed for installation on flat, smooth surfaces such as facades, windows, terraces, and balconies. The structure features a robust steel frame, providing solid and durable support for the entire installation. The total product weight is 4.18 kg.
The canopy fabric is made from 100% anthracite-colored polyester, with a weight of 180 g/m². This material is treated with a PA (polyamide) coating, which offers water resistance and UV protection. Maintenance is simplified by the ability to remove the polyester fabric for washing, preserving its appearance and functionality over time.
The operating mechanism is manual and functions via a chain. This allows the retractable length to be adjusted from 0 to a maximum of 150 cm. The height and angle of the awning can also be adjusted to optimize shading based on the sun's position. This product can be used as a traditional awning to create shaded areas in a garden or on a terrace, or as a specific covering to shade a window.
