Defective or damaged product? Returns and replacements are completely free. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage.
Warranty
2-year legal warranty
All products purchased on SolPatio carry a 2-year legal warranty of conformity from the delivery date (EU Directive 2019/771).
- What's covered: conformity defects present at delivery
- What's not covered: damage from normal wear, misuse, or inadequate maintenance
For the first 12 months from delivery, the burden of proof is on us (EU Directive 2019/771, art. 11).

Care & Maintenance
- Routine cleaning: use a soft cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive sponges or solvent-based products.
- UV protection: materials are treated to resist UV rays and rain. To maximize lifespan, cover the product during prolonged periods of disuse.
- Winter storage: store in a dry place away from frost when not in use.

For installation, the vidaXL shade sail includes stainless steel fasteners positioned at each corner. Additionally, PE ropes (4 x 1.5 m) are provided, allowing for stable and secure anchoring. While product assembly is not required, installation and tensioning using the ropes and fasteners are necessary for correct use. It is recommended to position two corners higher for optimal water runoff. The total weight of the shade sail is 2.170 kg.
