Warranty
2-year legal warranty
All products purchased on SolPatio carry a 2-year legal warranty of conformity from the delivery date (EU Directive 2019/771).
- What's covered: conformity defects present at delivery
- What's not covered: damage from normal wear, misuse, or inadequate maintenance
For the first 12 months from delivery, the burden of proof is on us (EU Directive 2019/771, art. 11).

Care & Maintenance
- Routine cleaning: use a soft cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive sponges or solvent-based products.
- UV protection: materials are treated to resist UV rays and rain. To maximize lifespan, cover the product during prolonged periods of disuse.
- Winter storage: store in a dry place away from frost when not in use.

The vidaXL raised garden bed measures 100 x 100 x 45 cm (L x W x H) and is constructed entirely from Corten steel. This material, also known as weathering steel, is inherently anticorrosive. Upon initial exposure to atmospheric conditions, it develops a protective rusted layer that prevents further corrosion, eliminating the need for painting. The characteristic brown color of Corten steel develops over time.
The planter is deep and wide, providing ample volume for a large amount of soil, suitable for growing plants, vegetables, herbs, and flowers. The structure's stability is provided by the steel construction and internal support brackets. For enhanced safety, the top edge features a folded-edge design to prevent sharp edges.
A functional feature of the raised bed is its open bottom. This design provides optimal water drainage, helping to prevent root rot. It also allows plants to absorb nutrients more effectively from the underlying soil. It can be placed directly on soil, grass, or concrete pavements.
The product is delivered un-rusted, with a normal metallic color; the rust-colored patina will form progressively. To accelerate the process, the surface can be sprayed with soapy or salty water. It is advisable to avoid contact with the developing rust layer to prevent staining clothing. For assembly, each product includes an instruction manual.
