Return shipping costs are paid by the customer. Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the return.
Defective or damaged product? Returns and replacements are completely free. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage.
Warranty
2-year legal warranty
All products purchased on SolPatio carry a 2-year legal warranty of conformity from the delivery date (EU Directive 2019/771).
- What's covered: conformity defects present at delivery
- What's not covered: damage from normal wear, misuse, or inadequate maintenance
For the first 12 months from delivery, the burden of proof is on us (EU Directive 2019/771, art. 11).

Care & Maintenance
- Routine cleaning: use a soft cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive sponges or solvent-based products.
- UV protection: materials are treated to resist UV rays and rain. To maximize lifespan, cover the product during prolonged periods of disuse.
- Winter storage: store in a dry place away from frost when not in use.

The vidaXL square sun shade sail measures 4 x 4 meters and is designed to offer shelter from the sun and rain in outdoor spaces. Its design is functional for gardens, terraces, playgrounds, or balconies.
The structure is made from Oxford fabric with a polyurethane (PU) coating. This material has been treated to resist mold formation and offers protection against UV rays. The finish makes the sail water-resistant, allowing rain to drain. For effective drainage, it is recommended to install two corners of the sail at a higher elevation than the other two.
Installation is supported by stainless steel fasteners on each corner, which provide stable anchoring. The package includes four 1.5-meter polyethylene (PE) ropes, ready for installation. The product has a total weight of 2.820 kg.
