Warranty
2-year legal warranty
All products purchased on SolPatio carry a 2-year legal warranty of conformity from the delivery date (EU Directive 2019/771).
- What's covered: conformity defects present at delivery
- What's not covered: damage from normal wear, misuse, or inadequate maintenance
For the first 12 months from delivery, the burden of proof is on us (EU Directive 2019/771, art. 11).

Care & Maintenance
- Routine cleaning: use a soft cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive sponges or solvent-based products.
- UV protection: materials are treated to resist UV rays and rain. To maximize lifespan, cover the product during prolonged periods of disuse.
- Winter storage: store in a dry place away from frost when not in use.

The vidaXL shade sail is triangular, measuring 4 x 5 x 6.4 m and weighing 1.92 kg. This black model provides effective coverage in outdoor spaces. The structure is made entirely of Oxford fabric with a polyurethane (PU) coating, a material selected for its functional properties.
The specific treatment of the Oxford fabric makes it water-resistant, allowing it to be used as shelter from rain. Additionally, the material offers UV protection and has been treated to resist mold formation, a useful feature for permanent outdoor installation during the season. These properties result directly from the combination of Oxford fabric and its PU coating.
For installation, the package includes three PE ropes, each 1.5 m long. Each corner of the sail is equipped with stainless steel fasteners, a metal known for its resistance to corrosion and weathering. For optimal rainwater drainage, it is recommended to install two corners of the sail at a higher elevation than the third.
This shade sail is designed for use in outdoor areas such as gardens, terraces, playgrounds, or balconies, where a defined shaded area is needed to protect against direct sun or light rain.
