Return shipping costs are paid by the customer. Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the return.
Defective or damaged product? Returns and replacements are completely free. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage.
Warranty
2-year legal warranty
All products purchased on SolPatio carry a 2-year legal warranty of conformity from the delivery date (EU Directive 2019/771).
- What's covered: conformity defects present at delivery
- What's not covered: damage from normal wear, misuse, or inadequate maintenance
For the first 12 months from delivery, the burden of proof is on us (EU Directive 2019/771, art. 11).

Care & Maintenance
- Routine cleaning: use a soft cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive sponges or solvent-based products.
- UV protection: materials are treated to resist UV rays and rain. To maximize lifespan, cover the product during prolonged periods of disuse.
- Winter storage: store in a dry place away from frost when not in use.

The vidaXL square shade sail measures 3 x 3 meters. It is made from Oxford fabric with a polyurethane (PU) coating, a material treated to resist mold and provide UV protection. The black sail has a weight of 1.72 kg and is designed to be water-resistant, protecting against light rain and direct sun.
The structure features stainless steel fasteners located on each of the four corners, facilitating secure installation. The package includes four polyethylene (PE) ropes, each 1.5 meters long, for mounting. For effective rainwater drainage, it is recommended to install the sail with an incline, positioning two corners at a higher height than the other two.
This shade sail is developed for outdoor use. A specific application is covering children's play areas in the garden, where the fabric's UV protection screens direct sunlight. It can also be used to create a shaded area on terraces or balconies, allowing the space to be used even during the sunniest hours.
