Warranty
2-year legal warranty
All products purchased on SolPatio carry a 2-year legal warranty of conformity from the delivery date (EU Directive 2019/771).
- What's covered: conformity defects present at delivery
- What's not covered: damage from normal wear, misuse, or inadequate maintenance
For the first 12 months from delivery, the burden of proof is on us (EU Directive 2019/771, art. 11).

Care & Maintenance
- Routine cleaning: use a soft cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive sponges or solvent-based products.
- UV protection: materials are treated to resist UV rays and rain. To maximize lifespan, cover the product during prolonged periods of disuse.
- Winter storage: store in a dry place away from frost when not in use.

The rectangular vidaXL shade sail, measuring 2x5 m, is designed to provide coverage from sun and rain in outdoor spaces. The structure is constructed from Oxford fabric, a material with a polyurethane (PU) coating that makes it water-resistant. The fabric has received specific treatment to offer UV protection and to prevent mold formation.
For installation, each corner of the sail features a stainless steel fixing device, a material selected for its corrosion resistance. The package includes four polyethylene (PE) ropes, each 1.5 m long, to allow for tensioning and securing the sail. The product requires no assembly and is ready for installation upon delivery. For effective drainage, it is recommended to position two corners of the sail at a higher elevation than the others.
