Warranty
2-year legal warranty
All products purchased on SolPatio carry a 2-year legal warranty of conformity from the delivery date (EU Directive 2019/771).
- What's covered: conformity defects present at delivery
- What's not covered: damage from normal wear, misuse, or inadequate maintenance
For the first 12 months from delivery, the burden of proof is on us (EU Directive 2019/771, art. 11).

Care & Maintenance
- Routine cleaning: use a soft cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive sponges or solvent-based products.
- UV protection: materials are treated to resist UV rays and rain. To maximize lifespan, cover the product during prolonged periods of disuse.
- Winter storage: store in a dry place away from frost when not in use.

The vidaXL rectangular sail shade, with dimensions of 3 x 4.5 meters, provides a coverage area for outdoor spaces. Its function is to offer protection from direct sunlight and light rain in areas such as gardens, terraces, or balconies.
The sail is made of Oxford fabric with a polyurethane (PU) coating. This composite material is water-resistant and has undergone a specific treatment that makes it mold-resistant and UV-resistant. These features help maintain the structural integrity and the taupe gray color of the fabric when exposed to weather conditions.
For installation, the sail shade features stainless steel fasteners on each of the four corners. Stainless steel is used for its corrosion resistance. The package also contains four PE ropes, each 1.5 meters long, to allow for tensioning and securing the sail. The total product weight is 2.38 kg. For proper rainwater drainage, it is recommended to mount the sail with a slope, fixing two corners at a higher elevation than the other two.
