Warranty
2-year legal warranty
All products purchased on SolPatio carry a 2-year legal warranty of conformity from the delivery date (EU Directive 2019/771).
- What's covered: conformity defects present at delivery
- What's not covered: damage from normal wear, misuse, or inadequate maintenance
For the first 12 months from delivery, the burden of proof is on us (EU Directive 2019/771, art. 11).

Care & Maintenance
- Routine cleaning: use a soft cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive sponges or solvent-based products.
- UV protection: materials are treated to resist UV rays and rain. To maximize lifespan, cover the product during prolonged periods of disuse.
- Winter storage: store in a dry place away from frost when not in use.

The vidaXL pond liner measures 2 x 2 meters with a thickness of 0.5 mm. It provides a base for building a custom garden pond. This liner is made from black PVC (polyvinyl chloride), a material known for its high elasticity and durability.
The material has a unit weight of 660 g/m², which contributes to its durability. The liner is designed to withstand mechanical stresses; its tear resistance complies with DIN 53363, and its static puncture resistance is tested according to ISO 12236. These characteristics make it suitable for both shallow and deeper areas of the pond.
The PVC composition is harmless to plants and animals, including fish, supporting a safe habitat. The material is also treated to resist weathering: it is resistant to UV rays, cold, swelling, decomposition, and aging. This allows the liner to maintain its properties over time, even when exposed to varying outdoor conditions.
For installation, the liner can be cut to size with scissors. Multiple sections can also be joined by gluing or welding with specific PVC adhesive, to accommodate larger projects. Before laying, it is recommended to prepare the surface to be smooth and free of sharp objects.
