Warranty
2-year legal warranty
All products purchased on SolPatio carry a 2-year legal warranty of conformity from the delivery date (EU Directive 2019/771).
- What's covered: conformity defects present at delivery
- What's not covered: damage from normal wear, misuse, or inadequate maintenance
For the first 12 months from delivery, the burden of proof is on us (EU Directive 2019/771, art. 11).

Care & Maintenance
- Routine cleaning: use a soft cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive sponges or solvent-based products.
- UV protection: materials are treated to resist UV rays and rain. To maximize lifespan, cover the product during prolonged periods of disuse.
- Winter storage: store in a dry place away from frost when not in use.

The vidaXL rectangular sail shade measures 3 x 4 meters, providing sun and rain protection for outdoor spaces. It is suitable for installation in gardens, terraces, play areas, or balconies, offering 12 square meters of coverage.
The sail is made from Oxford fabric with a polyurethane (PU) coating. This material provides water resistance and UV protection. The fabric is also treated to be mold-resistant, maintaining its properties over time with proper maintenance. The color of the fabric is terracotta.
Installation is facilitated by stainless steel fasteners located on each of the four corners. These anchor points are robust and corrosion-resistant. The package includes four 1.5-meter long polyethylene (PE) ropes for tensioning and securing the sail. For effective rainwater drainage, it is recommended to install the sail with an inclination, positioning two corners at a higher elevation than the other two. The product does not require prior assembly.
