Warranty
2-year legal warranty
All products purchased on SolPatio carry a 2-year legal warranty of conformity from the delivery date (EU Directive 2019/771).
- What's covered: conformity defects present at delivery
- What's not covered: damage from normal wear, misuse, or inadequate maintenance
For the first 12 months from delivery, the burden of proof is on us (EU Directive 2019/771, art. 11).

Care & Maintenance

This product is made entirely from Corten steel, also known as weathering steel. Its primary characteristic is the ability to autonomously develop a protective layer of rust when exposed to atmospheric conditions, eliminating the need for painting and maintenance. This process gives the planter its distinctive rust color over time. Corten steel offers notable durability and resistance.
The planter offers ample internal volume, being deep and wide enough to hold a large quantity of soil. This space is suitable for growing a variety of plants, flowers, or a small home garden. The internal structure is reinforced with steel support brackets, contributing to the overall robustness and stability of the raised bed, which weighs 11.22 kg.
The open-bottom design is a functional feature that allows optimal water drainage, preventing stagnation that can cause root rot. This configuration also allows plant roots to directly access nutrients in the underlying soil. For safety during assembly and use, the planter's upper edge features a safety folded design, which eliminates sharp and cutting edges.
The product is delivered with an instruction manual to simplify assembly. It is important to note that the planter arrives unrusted, with the natural metal color. The oxidation process that creates the rust-colored patina will develop naturally over time. To accelerate rust formation, the surface can be sprayed with soapy or salt water.
