Warranty
2-year legal warranty
All products purchased on SolPatio carry a 2-year legal warranty of conformity from the delivery date (EU Directive 2019/771).
- What's covered: conformity defects present at delivery
- What's not covered: damage from normal wear, misuse, or inadequate maintenance
For the first 12 months from delivery, the burden of proof is on us (EU Directive 2019/771, art. 11).

Care & Maintenance
- Routine cleaning: use a soft cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive sponges or solvent-based products.
- UV protection: materials are treated to resist UV rays and rain. To maximize lifespan, cover the product during prolonged periods of disuse.
- Winter storage: store in a dry place away from frost when not in use.

The vidaXL rectangular sail shade, measuring 2 x 2.5 meters, provides solar and rain protection. It is constructed from Oxford fabric with a polyurethane (PU) coating, a material selected for its water resistance and UV blocking capability. The fabric structure is treated to resist mold formation, making it suitable for extended outdoor use.
The 2 x 2.5 m rectangular shape allows it to cover specific areas in gardens, terraces, or balconies. Installation is facilitated by stainless steel fasteners located on each of the four corners. These robust anchoring points are designed for optimal sail tension. The package includes four 1.5-meter long PE ropes to complete the assembly.
This sunshade is designed to create effective cover, for example, over a children's play area or an outdoor table and chair set, protecting against both intense sun and light rain. For proper rainwater drainage, it is recommended to install the sail with an inclination, positioning two corners at a higher elevation than the other two. This technical measure prevents water accumulation on the fabric surface.
