Warranty
2-year legal warranty
All products purchased on SolPatio carry a 2-year legal warranty of conformity from the delivery date (EU Directive 2019/771).
- What's covered: conformity defects present at delivery
- What's not covered: damage from normal wear, misuse, or inadequate maintenance
For the first 12 months from delivery, the burden of proof is on us (EU Directive 2019/771, art. 11).

Care & Maintenance
- Routine cleaning: use a soft cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive sponges or solvent-based products.
- UV protection: materials are treated to resist UV rays and rain. To maximize lifespan, cover the product during prolonged periods of disuse.
- Winter storage: store in a dry place away from frost when not in use.

The vidaXL hexagonal raised garden bed, measuring 129 x 129 x 45 cm, is a planter constructed entirely from corten steel. This material, also known as weathering steel, is inherently corrosion-resistant. When exposed to the elements, it naturally develops a protective rust-like surface layer that prevents deeper corrosion. This process eliminates the need for painting and reduces maintenance costs, while its characteristic brown color evolves over time.
The planter measures 45 cm deep and 129 cm wide, providing sufficient space for a large amount of soil. It is suitable for growing plants, root vegetables, herbs, and flowers. The structure's stability is provided by its steel construction and internal support brackets, which consolidate its shape and durability over time, even when fully loaded.
The raised bed features an open bottom, which allows for efficient water drainage and prevents stagnation that causes root rot. This design also allows roots to penetrate the underlying soil to absorb nutrients more effectively when the planter is placed on soil or grass.
For increased safety during gardening, the container's top edge features a safety fold that eliminates sharp and dangerous edges. The product is delivered in its original metallic color; the protective rust layer will form progressively with exposure to atmospheric conditions. To accelerate this process, a solution of soapy water or salt water can be sprayed on the surface. Each raised bed includes an instruction manual to simplify assembly.
